Who controls your data
Flare Agency Co., Ltd. is the controller of the personal data held in your FlareApps account.
Service providers that process data for us
- Amazon Web Services — servers, databases and the files you upload, in the Thailand region.
- MongoDB Atlas — conversation messages and some supporting records.
- Stripe — payments. Your card number goes straight to Stripe; we do not hold it.
- SendGrid — the emails the platform sends you.
- Google — reCAPTCHA, checking that a real person is signing up or submitting a form; and one of the ways you can sign in.
- LINE — only where you link a LINE account, choose to receive messages over LINE, or sign in with LINE.
- AI model providers — Google Cloud (Vertex AI), Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, Kling, Runway, Stability AI, Black Forest Labs, Luma AI, and Amazon's own models on AWS Bedrock. Each receives what the AI feature sends for your request — your message and, when Aria looks something up for you, the rows it fetched to answer. No provider holds a connection to your database.
- Your browser's push service — when you turn on notifications, an already-encrypted message passes through the push service of the browser you use (Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft, depending on the browser).
Processing outside Thailand
Some processing happens outside Thailand, and we say so here rather than staying silent. This is the whole list, as we measure it:
- Servers, primary databases and the files you upload — the Thailand region, on AWS.
- Your Aria conversations — Singapore (MongoDB Atlas, on AWS).
- Video transcoding — Singapore (AWS MediaConvert).
- Work that uses AI — Singapore, the United States, or Google's global network, depending on which model the request is routed to.
- The other providers listed above — Stripe, SendGrid, Google, LINE and the AI model providers each process some data outside Thailand, wherever that provider operates.
Your rights, and how long we keep things
- Ask for a file of your data — from your account settings once you are signed in, up to five times a day. The file declares its own scope inside the file.
- Ask us to delete your account — with a 30-day grace period before anything is erased. You can cancel the request during it.
- Your own business's data — today you can export it subject by subject from inside the product: sales orders, and staff hours. There is no whole-business export and no one-click organisation-wide delete yet. If you need a particular set, write to support@flareapps.io and a real person will answer.
- Data other businesses hold about you — if you gave a shop using FlareApps consent to contact you, that shop is the controller of those records. When you delete your account we write an immediate withdrawal to every one of them so they stop reaching you.
